Steven Johnson, Behavioural Insights

Steven is a writer, speaker and freelance consultant specialising in behavioural insights research and design. Over the last decade he has been responsible for leading insight and design on a vast range of award-winning behaviour change projects addressing health, sustainability and social housing issues.

Working both with private, public and third sector clients across the UK, Europe and North America his work has received recognition from Cannes Lions, D&AD, IPA, AHC, How-Do and the German Design Council.

Steven speaks regularly on behaviour change, design and sustainability issues and advises a range of industry bodies and educational institutions. He is a columnist for Guardian Sustainable Business and a regular contributor for Sustainable Brands and AdForum.

Anna O’Halloran, Housing

Anna has extensive experience working in housing having started in 1984. She has worked for housing associations and local authorities and her passion has always been for doing things better.

As such, this includes setting up a rent payment incentive scheme, training the police on how to deal with ASB and managing the mobilisation of a new repairs contract. Helping others to do things better then became part of Anna’s role as a consultant and trainer for TPAS, which gave her a national platform for encouraging tenant empowerment.

Supporting improvement became further embedded in Anna’s approach as she then became a Housing Inspector for the Audit Commission. Anna then worked at CIH as Director of Consultancy supporting over 50 different organisations to get better at what they did.

Geoff Siggens, Data Science

Geoff specializes in bridging the gap between data and insight/understanding to solve problems, make sound decisions and improve effectiveness.

Over his career he has undertaken projects on a great diversity of topics from health to housing, pet rescue to train travel, financial services to retail, advertising to behaviour change.

His work builds on a unique background in brand marketing, research and statistical/simulation modeling, software development; adds creativity with a pragmatic and practical approach, to bring a unique blend of expertise and insight.
